We collect only the information needed to create your sketches, manage a commission, deliver your piece and communicate with you. This policy explains what we use, why we use it and the choices available to you.
The operator of L’Atelier Sater is responsible for the personal data described here. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to charlie@sater.sg.
Payment cards are processed by Stripe and full card details do not reach our servers. We may use an IP address briefly to derive approximate country and timezone or to protect the service, but we do not store it on your customer record.
We use personal data to create and save your sketchbook, respond to you, prepare and fulfil a commission, take payment, source stones, arrange delivery, prevent misuse, keep the service reliable and meet legal or accounting obligations.
We send design and commission updates because you ask us to provide the service. Separate promotional messages are sent only where permitted, and you can unsubscribe or withdraw consent at any time.
We share only what is necessary with service providers that help us operate the atelier: hosting and storage providers, communication services, payment processors, stone and production partners, couriers, fraud-prevention services and professional advisers. Optional analytics data is shared with our analytics provider only after consent. We do not sell personal data.
Some providers or delivery partners may process data outside Singapore. Where that happens, we use contractual or other safeguards intended to provide protection comparable to Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act. We use access controls, restricted links and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold.
Photos added to an unfinished brief can be reopened for up to 30 days. Unused uploads then expire and are queued for deletion. Photos used for a sketch stay with that design so you and Charlotte can refer to the original inspiration.
We keep design and contact data only while it is needed for the purpose explained above or for a legitimate legal, accounting, dispute or security requirement. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. Records that must be retained by law may be kept without being used for marketing.
You can ask to access or correct your personal data, withdraw consent, unsubscribe from marketing, download your account data or request deletion. Some information may need to be retained where the law or an active commission requires it. We will explain any limitation that applies to your request.
Signed-in customers can download or erase account data from the account page. You can also contact us by email. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before the withdrawal.
